My mentoring style and philosophy
My mentoring is systemic, reflective, and DEI-informed, attending carefully to relational patterns, context, culture, and power. An optional pre-session meeting is available to clarify goals and fit. I value preparation, self-reflection, and respectful engagement with complexity.

Best fit for mentees
Primary areas of focus include relational and systemic perspectives, supervision readiness, professional identity formation, and culturally responsive practice. I am best suited for mentees seeking thoughtful, relational mentoring that integrates ethics, diversity awareness, and sustainable professional development.

I expect mentees to come prepared, open to self-reflection, and willing to engage respectfully with complexity and difference.

Group Theme
Encourage relational and systemic approach to understanding what a client brings to counselling. Cultivating therapist-client therapeutic relationship to enhance case conceptualisation and choice of interventions. Developing professional practice AND personal human development for the practitioner of any kind. I draw from Shohet & Hawkins Double Matrix which seems a good fit for my practice.
