My mentoring style and philosophy
My mentoring is multicultural, theory- and research-based, and reflective, integrating theory with practice. An optional pre-session meeting helps clarify goals and boundaries. I expect mentees to take ownership of learning and apply insights responsibly.
Best fit for mentees
Primary areas of my practice focus include multicultural and social-justice-oriented practice, relationship and couple counseling, supervision, and theory-to-practice integration. I am best suited for counselor educators, supervisors, and experienced practitioners seeking academically grounded, culturally responsive mentoring.
I expect mentees to take ownership of learning and apply insights responsibly. Preference for cameras turned on and use closed caption if needed.
